We do this so that we can secure land for a permanent rainforest. The beginnings of that forest are trees we plant to be left behind after the faster-growing species are removed for sale. For us, the trees that your contribution buys are no different than any other tree we plant. They are planted with the same care and given the same maintenance. In fact, on the plantations, those who care for the trees will not know the difference.

During the harvest of Tree Avalanche trees, the money that would have gone back to people goes to build more forest – the only real difference to Finca Leola is that this time, the forest is the client.
