Who we are

The Tree Avalanche is wholly owned and operated by Finca Leola S.A., a Costa Rican company that grows trees owned by many people throughout the world. The owners of the company are a married couple from the United States, Fred and Amy Morgan, who relocated to Costa Rica in 2004, and Hector Ramirez, a native of Costa Rica.

Fredrick L Morgan Fred, as the president of Finca Leola S.A., is the visionary behind the goal of returning farms to forest.

Amy is a professional editor with a lifetime goal of becoming completely fluent in Spanish.
