How to give an even bigger push

One of the best ways to help is to get the word out. The more people who know what we are doing, the more people will help in whatever way they can. We deeply appreciate whatever mention you make of the Tree Avalanche.

  • If you have a website, we would appreciate a link.
  • If you have a business that relies on wood products, it would be very nice to include a contribution to the Tree Avalanche for every purchase. No matter how small, things like this have a way of adding up. We have people who buy trees with Finca Leola S.A. because they recently bought tropical hardwood flooring and wish to ensure that more of the same wood is grown.
  • Kent Middle School, located in Marin County, California, did a fundraiser to contribute to the Tree Avalanche. In fact, they were the first to give and started with a push of 225 trees. They are planning on continuing to raise funds. You can read more about what they did on their website by clicking on the link at left.
  • Want to be carbon neutral? Buy enough trees to be carbon neutral, and with time, not only will you be carbon neutral, but so will any of your children and their children.

We are sure that there are many other ways that people can help that we cannot even imagine. If you have a good idea, tell us about it on the Contact Us page.

DID YOU KNOW...
500,000 trees are cut every hour in tropical rainforests. An area the size of a football field is being destroyed every second.
